Hello, welcome to my site. My name is Alexx Thompson.

I work as an Art Director as well as a Motion Picture Set Painter/Scenic Artist., I have worked as a painter, foreman, lead scenic and as a stand by scenic.

I've worked on everything from micro budget Indy films to million dollar budgets, both offering great creative challenges that I enjoy.

I have experience in production design for independent films as well as home interior design.

As a member of I.A.T.SE Local 729 Motion picture set painters Union for over eleven years, I am also a current certified Safety Passport holder. (General safety, hazard communication, hand & power tools, and respiratory protection.) I have experience using all stages of scaffolding and can safely operate boom and scissor lifts.

I work in Hollywood, have experience working out of the country and am always seeking opportunities overseas or out of state.
