Andria
Batise grew up in the theater, performing in her first play at the age of
six. Her inherent talent and passion for acting drove her to uncover and
develop her exceptional skills as a performer. Her experience includes
musical theater, dramatic performances and competitions, and stand-up
comedy.
She credits her mother, whose own local theater and
community college experience profoundly affected the direction Andria
chose. And she takes very seriously the responsibility of using her talent
to communicate with the youth of America on social issues. “I am fortunate
enough to have been raised by people wealthy in the ways of creativity,
culture and tradition”, she says, and feels blessed that her occupation
serves as “a vehicle for escapism to those willing to travel outside of
their own issues of everyday life.” In her outstanding one-woman show "MY
DICK IS IN YO’ FACE" Andria uses satire and flawless character
transformation to portray her take on the influence of hip-hop in our
culture.
