Sedi Pak was born in Korea and was raised traveling extensively throughout the world with her family for most of her formative years. This developed a heightened awareness of self and her role in it. She studied at the reputed Parsons The New School for Design in New York.
After her studies, she developed her talents by training and working for renowned decorative painter, Randall Stokey. For five years, she learned the aspects of Trompe L'oeil, large-scale artworks, aka murals, and traditional painterly effects. Sedi then ventured to begin her own business.
She has lived and worked in many parts of the U.S. Her work ranges in style, from the classic motifs and techniques to the fresh and modern interpretations of them.
Sedi has participated in the House Beautiful Celebrity Showhouse 2005, Assistance League of Southern California Design House 2003 & 2004, and the Pasadena Showcase House 1999, 2000 & 2001.
Sedi currently resides in Los Angeles, CA and is working on her own series of paintings for a solo gallery show. She is also creating a line of printed fabrics and hand made wallcoverings, exploring the new directions of decorative and large scale art.
