Chibian is not a artist.
I have no "Big Story"...I'm just a ordinary person who loves to draw some kinda FUNNY thang.
And sometimes, serious thang,too.
Since I was a kid, I like drawing.
But, I've never wished to be Comic Artist. 'Cos, I didn't have a skill ...and theme to draw.
Just only COPY my favorite Comic characters...as like ordinary kids.
Since about 10 years ago, I've started to draw & create 'bout Angelo Moore of Fishbone.
First time I saw him (It's 1993...too late, huh??), I thought..." What's this man???!!!
I wanna draw him...his...smiles!!"
A few years later, I sent a letter him with handmade paper. I printed his several faces on the back.
He liked it, and write me back and asked me to permission to use for his solo project.
Yes, Of Course! I agreed...But, tell the truth, I've never thought it was TRUE.
In 2000, Fishbone came to Japan for the show.
I brought my drawing "KARMA TSUNAMI" that inspired the same titled song from latest album.
Then, he noticed this short person is same as a sender of the letter.
Since then, I sent my works to him....he never asked,though....
Angelo gives me idea, and drives my imagination.
He is a "PERFORMANCE", just being there.
He always let me challenge to new thangs...make Comic ("Jah Jah On The Telephone"),
CD's jacket ("Medicine Cabinet") and T-shirt etc....
But! most of all is....Fuckin' English!!!!(sorry!) This is the most troubleness to me...
I always fightin' with my dictionary... and always lose.
Anyway, I'd like to keep tryin' to make another anesthetic for THE WORLD GONE MAD.
With my Oompa Loompa...SPER-MUSHI !!
