WHAT IS IRIDOLOGY?
Iridology is a scientific analysis of patterns and structures in the iris of the eye. The iris examination reveals body constitution, health levels, inherent strengths and weaknesses, inflammation, and levels of toxic accumulations. It provides information about the body tissues which indicate tendencies toward conditions of "dis-ease" even before symptoms appear. It is a quick, accurate, non-invasive, painless system of health analysis through examination of the colored part of the eye known as the iris. It requires no needles, anesthetic or drugs.
The complex iris is composed of hundreds of thousands of nerve endings that are connected by impulses to every tissue of the body through the brain and nervous system. The nerve fibers respond specifically to organ and tissue conditions with a corresponding lesion or color variation in the iris. Iridology is certain to play an important role in preventative medicine at the bio-electrical level, which is well on its way to becoming the medicine of the future.
Another informative aspect of Iridology using the same type of examination with the addition of the Rayid Model System reveals genetic behavior, communication style, relationship patterns, mental and emotional characteristics.
HOW DOES THE WISE OLD OWL FIT INTO ALL THIS?
Iridology has been practiced for centuries. In ancient Egypt, India and China doctors and priests were making health related diagnosis based on the condition of the iris. The first book published can be credited to the physician Philippus Meyens who wrote a book explaining the features of the irid called Chromatica Medica. (Now for the Owl story)...
Dr. Ignatz Von Peczley a hungarian physician known today as the "Father of Iridology", published a book in 1881 called "Discoveries in the Field of Natural Science and Medicine, a Guide to the Study and Diagnosis from the Eye." When he was a child and tried to release a trapped owl, the bird broke its leg. He observed a dark mark in the owl's eye on the irid (iris). The mark gradually turned white as the leg healed. Dr Von Peczley became a great physician of his time and published several more books on iridology. The owl, having been such a wonderful visual and physical example of true iridology, with its newly healed leg, happily flew off with the knowledge that it's teaching assignment was complete. We now come up to current times with Dr. Bernard Jensen who pioneered the science of Iridology in 1950 in the United States. He developed one of the most comprehensive irid charts that is still being used today.
