J.Minor

J. Minor grew up on the road with punk rock bands, setting out to explore the world before most kids start junior high. In the late 1990s, he moved to the south side of Chicago and founded Novocain Records in a creepy old warehouse. Seven years and countless accomplishments later, he quit money-music, had a daughter, and started several solo projects including music (Nine Volt Hammer / Sign Nothing), writing (founder, The Laughing Academy) and continued pursuits in visual media of many sorts.

To see everything he does set in front of you, it is easy to understand how he has earned his title of "One Man Crime Wave" multiple times over.

The "Accidental Philosopher", his daily movements are gritty snapshots of an upfront and stark reality that he frames and turns around for the world to see. Characterized by his blunt honesty and charismatic window to the outside; he has a love for the world that's steeped in ynicism and black paint, as clearly stated in his mantra "I want to save the world... as long as I don't have to hear about it afterwards."

He was born in hell, raised in shit, is living in Chicago, and dying in stages.
