influences. The result is a trans-cultural sound, which is perfected when combined with his physically demanding and intellectually stimulating stage performance. Stick (as his close friends call him) is one of the founding members of the highly regarded act, Daddylongleggs, which included Mike Watson, Robert Walter and Brian Jordan. His involvement with the band spanned over a decade and obtained national recognition playing to crowds as large as 4,000. Even though they remained in the artistic underground (without a record deal in sight), their style was respected by the music industry and continued as a significant influence, as evidenced by acknowledgments on the albums of Stone Temple Pilots (formerly Mighty Joe Young, who got their start opening for D.L.L), Henry Rollins Band and Fishbone, among others.

Stick3X's purpose and mission have always been to provide alternative information and a political direction that supersede the limitations of the mainstream, conservative and mediocre elite. He intends to continue contributing to social and environmental causes, thereby allowing his music to convey a timely political message.

The magnitude of his commitment to justice, and to utilizing his music as a catalyst for the elevation of consciousness, is apparent through his participation in numerous benefits at various venues, including: U.C.S.D's Che Caf?, The Triton Pub, The Casbah and Centro Cultural de la Raza. Organizations that have benefited from his performances are: Green Peace, Amnesty International, Animal Liberation League, Big Mountain Support Committee, Mumia Abu Jamal and Coalition for Peace in the Middle East.

He has also performed with the San Diego-based band Psydecar, Liquid American Culture, and has completed his first solo album, "2003x".
