AURA NUMBER ONE

The next time I want to tell you,
"I love you," I won't.
I'm gonna show you...
my appreciation for all of the things
that you go through.
Cause life is hell and baby girl
you just wear it so well,
and every time we make love,
it be like godspell.
And afterwards,
I love to watch you sleep
in all that peace
and think to myself,
"With you by my side,
how could I fail?"
I wanna make this world
jealous through you.
Starting with the people
in your office.
Wanna make them feel awkward
from all the chivalry,
all the lunch dates
and flower deliveries
and in this world
where so many people
live in fear and misery,
I just want you to feel
protected.
So how can I not make a career
out of year after year, after year
of showing you the unexpected?
that way no matter how hard
your work day,
and no matter how hectic,
when you come home,
I got your favorite record..
I got you rubbed down
and relaxed in a bubble bath naked,
and when all you feel is wetness
outside and in, I'm gonna lift you,
cause I got you.
So how could I not do
whatever it takes to make you
this world's example of how
a real woman should be treated
and cause you to moan my name
until you can no longer repeat it.
And, you can fight back that climax
all you want but eventually
you'll be defeated
and walk away in such a way
that'll make your girlfriends
wish they were in on our secret.
And, I sure hope your girls
have a strong self concept,
cause I'm gonna love you
until their entire life situation
seems inept.
They ain't never had relations
with a conversation this in-depth;
never had a man who could augment their
education and still transcend sex.
And I'm now, and I'm yours,
and I'm here in the flesh.
And I suggest you watch your step,
cause there's some real things 'agwan
in the direction that you're steppin'.
And in this world of women
who just want to be loved,
I'm about to make you
a legend!
